Discernment In Ignatian Tradition

For Life Transitions, Vocational Decisions, and Leadership Responsibilities

Focused accompaniment for significant decisions concerning career, vocation, leadership responsibilities, retirement, and life transitions. We consider circumstances, desires and attachments, interior movements, spiritual freedom, and the moral and social dimensions of choices.

Together, we begin by assessing your personal, professional, and vocational circumstances, identifying the decisions before you, and exploring the desires, interior movements, and attachments that may influence them. Drawing upon the principles and practices of Ignatian discernment, we seek to cultivate greater self-awareness, clarity, and freedom from disordered attachments, allowing you to become more attentive and responsive to God's call.

Whether discerning a career change, retirement, vocational direction, or decisions involving responsibility for others, the process is adapted to your particular circumstances. For those in positions of leadership and authority, discernment extends beyond personal considerations to include the impact of decisions on others, the institutions they serve, and the wider community.

Rooted in prayer and informed by the Church's teachings on faith and morals, this work integrates the principles of Catholic Social Doctrine—particularly the dignity of the human person, the common good, solidarity, subsidiarity, and the ethical responsibilities of leadership.

The goal is greater clarity and interior freedom to discern and follow God's call in one's personal, professional, and vocational life.
